All We Need is Love
I caught the new Wonder Woman film this week.
It’s pretty bloody good.
It’s about time we saw one of the Female Super Heroes in a lead role.
The other thing I’m pleased about it is, the fact that these DC films are getting better each time.
This bodes well for Justice League later in the year.
Now there is some fitness and health related stuff to come towards the end of this but there is something else I want to talk about.
I think this film has come at just the right time.
There is a message in this movie.
A message that we all need to take on board.
At the moment the world is as dark as it is light.
There is a lot of shit going on in the world and it is a worrying time for a lot of people.
Now during this movie, there is a quote when WW is facing off with the bad guy and he reckons this never ending war is what mankind deserves.
Her response is
Not what you deserve
It’s what you believe
I believe in Love
Love can save the World
This is the bit that hits home at the moment, there is too much hate in the world, we have seen to much hate going on.
All this does is breed more hate.
The only thing that is keeping us going is the pure love that we are also seeing at these times, the people that help, the people that combat the hate with generosity and love for humankind.
It does give me faith that the human race isn’t completely a lost cause.
Sometimes I think it is.
We all have light and dark inside us.
We all have the ability to be an absolute arsehole but we also have the ability to be amazing and pure.
It really just comes down to what you decide to do.
We have that choice
We can be dark or we can be light
We decide which path we take.
So, there is one thing that can save the world and that is indeed love.
Love for Humankind
Love for yourself
Now back on to the health & fitness part of this.
I train a lot of women, who I think Wonder Woman would have their pictures on the wall as her inspiration.
They are amazing, they get up and they battle through it.
They pitch up and lift heavy shit.
Getting better and stronger weekly.
If Wonder Woman makes you want to get up and get strong AF then brilliant.
Get into the gym and learn to lift.
Learn to train, mix it up with some cardio and you will be better, fitter, stronger, learn to box and you can then get your picture up on the wall of Wonder Woman.
