So, this week we are talking about one of our Younger members.
Alex comes along to our Teen Classes and gets involved, only joining us last summer when we were open for those short couple of months.
Before joining the Den my fitness was average mainly just cycling to school everyday and a few walks here and there.
I wanted to get into fitness to get into boxing and develop myself as a person and feel better about myself.
I looked at various boxing websites and this one seemed to have good reviews and well equipped with a small groups at a time making room for more one on one feedback.
I find the training at the fox den more intense and a better workout. I feel more aches which is a good thing as I really want to develop muscle and fitness.
Past experiences haven’t been as intense due to high age range but I’m around people my age who are mostly motivated to work out.
It is very intense and effective. Obviously I prefer going into the actual fox den with the equipment but Pete still makes the effort to keep classes running online which helps me keep getting fitter during lockdown which helps my mental health.
From the small time I have been at the fox den I have already felt fitter and in a better place mentally.
I am looking forward to the end of lockdown to get back into the den.
Since joining the Den I have developed as a boxer which is what I ultimately want to achieve.
